June, one of our committee members has been out campaigning with Stephen Morgan, the Portsmouth MP for Labour:

“Following the party’s ‘call for action’, I joined Stephen Morgan, along with other Labour Members, on the campaign trail. Some 30 or so met at Stephen’s office and spent time preparing election materials for posting. The atmosphere was very convivial and everyone was positive about the forthcoming election.

In the afternoon a number of us hit the streets for door to door canvassing in the Landport area where we had some great conversations with people who are clearly disillusioned with Johnson and his government. The NHS, housing and education are huge issues. It’s not all about Brexit. In fact hardly anyone wanted to talk about Brexit.

Great working with Stephen who is a real ‘people person’ and hugely committed to his constituents.”
