There are lots of different ways you can support or take an active part in the campaign….
- Joining our campaign events
If you would like a lift or any directions to the events do reply to this email.
- Leafleting or door knocking
We are going to arrange some small groups of members delivering leaflets in their local area with our parliamentary candidate Matthew Bunday. If you are able to give a few hours to this task please respond as soon as you can by replying to this email or ringing our local campaign team on: 01489 896717, and we will organise dates and times.
- Message from our social media team
If you can’t join us for door-stepping or street campaigning but still want to get involved, please log onto Twitter and help us out in the following ways:
- Check the Meon Valley CLP banner, as it displays the hashtags we’d like to promote on that day. We hope to change the banner daily.
- Please also check the pinned tweet as that will be the key message for that day that we’d like you to share far and wide. This may change several times a day (if we have time!)
- Please retweet messages from other reliable sources, to get our message out to as many as possible, Labour Party and our candidate Matt Bunday being the main sources. Don’t forget to follow Matts account.
- Follow other local CLP’s, we are one big family and supporting each other is key.
- Socialist Sunday (#SocialistSunday) is a great way to boost your followers. Watch out for it every Sunday.
- Whilst the MV CLP account will be posting clear, clean and positive messages, on your own accounts you can be more challenging. Get involved in debates but remain mindful of not being confrontational or disrespectful
- If you do receive negative replies, don’t let it put you off, it’s sadly part of social media. Don’t reply in anger, take a screen break.

- Visit on the Meon Valley CLP website and click on the donate button at the top of the page and fill out the form where you can donate by debit/credit card.
