Our local campaign got underway on Saturday (9th Nov) when Labour Party members and supporters from across Meon Valley CLP and Havant CLP went out to meet and talk with local people in Waterlooville High Street, to hear about what is important to them and to talk about some of the really positive pledges in the Labour Party manifesto. We were joined by our parliamentary candidate Matt Bunday.
This was the first of a series of local campaign events we are running in the Meon Valley constituency – the next street campaign will be on Saturday 16th November in Bishops Waltham (10:00am – noon) we are meeting at Costa Coffee. Do join us to give out leaflets and talk with local people in Bishops Waltham.
The following weekend on Saturday 23rd November we will be campaigning in Wickham High street (10:00- noon) , meeting near the bus stop by the Square Cow pub.
How you can get involved in the campaign – We will also be sending out details of other campaign events and activities – if you can give a little time to get involved it would make a huge difference – there are a range of ways to get involved for example giving out leaflets, phoning round to other members, supporting our social media team.
